Southern Veterinary Partners earned the rank of 235 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.
This is the first year that Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is on the Inc. 5000 list, which evaluates growth over a 3-year span. SVP was founded in 2014 with 3 veterinary hospitals in Alabama and as of August 15th, 2018 has 59 hospitals across 10 southern states.
SVP is the highest-ranking company in Birmingham and Alabama on the list and ranks as the 19th fastest-growing healthcare company in America.
Dr. Jay Price, CEO, says of this most recent accolade, “I am honored for SVP to earn a place on a list that has included heavy hitters like Zappos and Oracle. We are inspired to continue expanding our footprint of hospitals providing best in class pet care. The growth has been our plan and vision from the start but to see it succeed renders me awestruck! I attribute our trajectory to an exceptionally strong team led by our officers Bryan Wetta, Barron Lakeman, Dr. Jeff Falone, and Jeff Wilson executing on guidance from our talented executive advisory board.”
Inc. 5000 is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Started in 1982, this list has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success and represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment - its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known companies gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your hard work and sacrifice,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter.
Founded in 1979 and acquired in 2005 by Mansueto Ventures, Inc. is the only major brand dedicated exclusively to owners and managers of growing private companies, with the aim to deliver real solutions for today’s innovative company builders. Inc. took home the National Magazine Award for General Excellence in both 2014 and 2012. The total monthly audience reach for the brand has been growing significantly, from 2,000,000 in 2010 to more than 18,000,000 today. For more information, visit www.inc.com.
